Roominspo

So lately I've been feeling that my surroundings could be the one to blame for my lack of productivity. It's holding me back! The apartment I currently live in is an old vintage building that dates back to the 1920's (yeah we just NOW after 2 years got the notice that there still might be traces of lead paint in our apartment, thanks guys). The apartment has great natural lighting, hard wood floors, framed arch ways, and is a pretty good size. Unfortunately, it has a "pest" infestation (this makes me sound dirty, I'm not...it's the building!) and, well, that's enough reason for me to want to move out of this (beautiful) place! If only if only this problem did not exist, I would live here for years to come but it does and it won't go away (easily, atleast.) So, waiting until March to find a new abode and getting very impatient. This means a new beginning though!

So I've been thinking, what do I want to live like and in? I'm starting to understand that the chaos of everything in my apartment is taking a toll on my ability to function without just shutting it all out with t.v. Also, I feel Lisandro and I are maturing and we're not just that young couple who just moved out of their parents house for the first time (that was three years ago!). Those people were the ones that wanted every poster from every concert they went to on the wall; had a corner designated for laundry instead of a laundry basket, and just shoved things into the closest, most convenient drawer. Now that I am starting to discover what I truly like, what I truly want to do, and realizing that I'm most likely going to be with this boy for the rest of my life, I'm ready to take serious time and $$ to create my dream living space! With a little bit of organization, a theme that we can agree on, some colors and patterns, topped with inspirational and collectible pieces decorated all throughout the space- I might finally be able to think clearly ;). We will see (March, where are yooooou?!)

Here are some inspiring rooms I found on Apartment Therapy dot Com//

It's getting cold and I don't mind it.

Just hanging out right now. I watched probably 6 interviews with the Yeah Yeah Yeah's randomly and came to the conclusion that I just want to be their friend :) haha. I find it completely inspiring and motivational to watch interviews with your favorite bands. Their humbleness and normality just makes you more convinced that you too could have a successful band. Haha I don't know. Every bit of motivation and inspiration I can get I will TAKE. I'm feeling a little lazy and reserved and starting to fear that I'm all talk :X.

I must say I got a good dose of inspiration last night with this band called VulGarrity. Good people and good music! They are a two piece band (bro and sis) and they switch off between playing bass and drums. They take grant advantage of the beloved Loop Station and make some great dancey beats. I got to hang out with them and (like the interviews I've been watching) they're down to earth and humble but really have it going for themselves musically. I wish them the best!

Just another lazy day off. I really need to focus FOCUS FoCuS because the clock is ticking and I'm doing this regardless if I'm recording an album on my death bed when I'm in my 90's haha. It's going to happen ;) //

Very random day. Had a BLTT today (unfortunately withOUT the LT) at Snarf's, took these pictures on the way to Family Dollar, and visited my parents!

Very much in love with this fur collar. I want to wear it everyday! //

Belated Pumpkin Carving Pictures

So I was scrolling through my past entries and I told you guys I was going pumpkin carving but I never showed the pictures! So these are mine and my friends' pumpkins finished. Mine is the second one in and if you don't know it's Mondo Guerra (You know, the TRUE winner of Project Runway).

Shoot, I'm so behind, I need to post pictures of my Mondo Guerra look alike costume as well! I didn't make it to the Top 5 Look Alikes but I had a ton of fun (too much possibly...especially with my emotions dealing with Mondo's lose lol).

Well, I wish Mondo the best and I'm super excited to see what he comes up with next!//

Sorry, it's been awhile!

Sorry I have been lagging in updating my blog. I'm suspicious that no one is paying attention anyways but I won't be bitter. So moving on...

Today! Really beautiful. I got this picture in the morning while I was doing a little experimenting with my (still) new camera. I just love how crisp the background looks. Denver<3

Bought my first very own Bass cable today and practiced a bunch. :) Got some pictures on our roof via Lisandro (who was being lazy and didn't try too hard to get cool photos, no offence I love you).

It was WINDY!

Last BUT NOT LEAST, I got some faux fur! I've been eying this faux fur collar to wear with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. From my leather jacket, to my olive green blazer, and maybe even just an oversized button up or sweater...this thing will most likely be worn everyday from tomorrow on haha. I got it at Urban Outfitters of course. bye//
